Ab Ex processes post

So far I've had a really good time painting in abstraction. While I've been struggling with forms and color I've also really fun time painting. In terms of color I plan to put down oranges to grey out the blue background and browns to complement the nature vibe the greens give. For the forms I'm going to work a little from my reference composition but I'm mainly going to work from intuition. Additionally I've been challenged by thinking subjectively rather than objectively. Regardless of the challenges I've really enjoyed the process and what I've learned.
