Project 2 process blog post

So far, I've been having a really fun time with this painting. I think I did a good job transferring the image, picking a composition and changing some parts of it. In terms of process I started with a cadmium red and burnt sienna wash, then I went I added dioxide purple to the wash and painted in the under drawing. After doing the wash and underpainting I have been working in color and focusing on the lighting of the picture. For the next project Ill be more intentional about picking the color for the wash so I will have undertones that are more connected to my color scheme. Also on the third studio day I didn't block in enough values before I got into detail so next time I will block in all the colors before I get into detail.
