Project 5# process post

Project 5 was definitely an interesting one for, I like the finished product to an extent but I think the process of working through it was very valuable and taught me valuable lessons and that the process of it was more fruitful. First off It made the need for more extensive preparation very apparent to me, I spent probably 70% of the time fixing drawing mistakes and even then I didn't really get the drawing down. For the next project I am 100% using a projector. Also by working through this painting I really got a good sense of the direction I want to go in. This painting is probably one of my more experimental one and by experimenting so much I kinda realized that doing the impressionist expressionist stuff isn't what I want to do. Additionally I have never really worked through I painting that I'm not enjoying and so doing that with this painting showed me how fruitful that can be because I went from kinda despising the paintings to liking it.
