Project #6 process post

The left most picture I was I have done as of 3/4/26. So far this project as served as a way for me experiment with a more procedural way of painting. In my previous paintings, after getting a reference picture I would just go with the flow and I think that resulted in my paintings not looking as finished and polished as they could have been. On the other hand with this paintings I have been painting in a more structure way, I started with an underpainting, then used a projector to sketch my composition and now am building up an underpainting. So far the more structured process has allowed for me to focus on my painting rather than constantly fixing drawing errors, which is honestly a relief because now I can zone in on what I really love about painting. Overall, I don't have a whole lot else to say since I did do a process critique for project 6.
