Project 8 post 2

My plan from the last post didn't work at all. I got to a point where I was just aimlessly painting, waiting for it to come together, not actually making it come together. I decided it would best to restart and follow the reference painting, In front of the Mirror more closely. I made a mistake that I commonly make with this painting which is that I jump the gun and skip out on all of the boring preparation which facilitates the paintings success. I think I do this because I get so excited about the painting and just want to get into the fun stuff and over look that taking it slow and building the painting actually makes it more fun. Anyway with my restart I am going to be very deliberate with my steps and create a strong foundation for my self so I can create the piece I want to make.
