Project 8 project post 1

With this project I choose to paint smaller so I could work through paintings faster to get a better sense of what it is I am actually trying to do with the work. I really like the gestural nature of the sketch on the left and I want to experiment more with stuff like that. With this painting I want to focus on a really cohesive composition in terms of color. Despite knowing what I want to do for my composition, I'm I'm exactly sure what it is that I want to do with this work. I have a vision in my head of how the work would feel but I don't really know how to explain it nor how to figure out how I would get to that destination.
