‘Keep the Kid Alive,’ Arielle Bobb-Willis

While the vivid use of colors is the most obvious characteristic of this work, the aspect I found most interesting was the composition. The two people hugging each other in the middle provides contrast to the hard concrete setting. Additionally I really like how the bodies are positioned, though the poses are very plausible the body composition combined with the colors spread slightly surreal to me. I want to integrate more surreal elements into my composition Arielle Bobb- Willis, I've been interested in working more in photography but I think I would integrate these aspects of composition to my drawings first, to get a sense of what I like and don't like.
