Career blog post: Art historian

Art historians main responsibilities include teaching at universities, analyzing and publishing their finds about pieces of work, authenticating and identify works. A typical day for an art historian differs on the specific time period the particular art historian specializes in. If the art historians specializes in a more studied period their day will focus more on education rather than research. A variety of colleges offer great art history programs but some of best are a bachelor is art history for the University of Michigan and NYU. Through my process of research I found that art historians and museum curators have a lot in common in terms of general skills and knowledge. The main difference is that art historians produce more written content and expanded on the current understanding of art and art movements.
